Houston

I can’t be mad at Houston, for I don’t think most people consider how liber­ally its name has been affixed to what might be “Elsewhere” in other states or coun­tries. After all, if other cities in the US had developed with such limit­less extra-territorial juris­dic­tion as Houston had, then we would see a Miami that extends well into Broward County, a San Francisco that ends in Millbrae, or even Milpitas, a Kansas City Missouri-Kansas that annexed Independence.
